A St. George man was killed Wednesday when he ran a red light at 800 North 800 East in Orem.
Sgt. Craig Martinez of the Orem Police Department told SUN News, 68-year-old Gordan Ellis Olds and two teenage passengers were involved in the accident after Olds was broadsided by a silver van coming through the intersection southbound.
Olds was pronounced dead on the scene, his granddaughter was taken by ambulance to the hospital with stomach injuries, while her friend was life flighted and is now in stable condition awaiting for scheduled surgeries in the next few days.
