DSC Golfer Wins Brigham City Open

A Dixie State golfer sinks enough putts and hits enough fairways to win the Brigham City Open.

Shooting 65 through the tournament, Red Storm golfer Nick Drost edged Marlin Widdison by two strokes to claim the title. Drost has played for Dixie State Head Coach Reed McArthur since 2009, and also competed in the Utah State Amateur.

The Brigham City Open was held at the Eagle Mountain Golf Course. Earning the win on the 6,700 yard, par-71 course, Drost took home the trophy and 700 dollars.
