The Pacific West Athletic Conference continued to grow and embrace new ideas Thursday as a new logo is released. The conference has grown from seven schools to 14 over the past five years.
The new logo was created by students at a conference school, Academy of Arts University. The new design adds a fresh look to the NCAA Division II’s largest western conference. Officials say the logo is a representation of where the conference is located and also the forward thinking and innovation of the conference.
The Conference consists of 14 colleges and universities, including Dixie State College, in four time zones, and spans over four states.
