A small brush fire in Cedar City threatened a nearby home improvement store and liquor store early Wednesday when air-support was called on scene.
The fire started around 4:20 p.m. and the blaze spread quickly. Officials received help from a BLM Helicopter which dropped fire retardant to slow and eventually contain the blaze.
Both stores were evacuated as precaution, though the Home Depot has been re-opened for business. The size of the fire was estimated to be around three acres, fire officials are still investigating the cause.
